Crackerdummy - Lemurs (angry lemurs)

Adie Gargan and Dan Abrams

The Main Cast of Tuesday by Daniel Kilby

Dan Abrams
I met Dan through my sister-law, he does alot of acting for a local Theatre company ABDABS. I look at some of his films he has made and starred in, which turned to us meeting up for coffee and chatting about this project 'Tuesday'. He was very willing to help me out with this uni project and is a very talent young actor. I am amazed about how much this guy can do, playing this character and then I saw him in a completely different role in this recent show in Chipping Norton 'The Full Monty'

Adie Gargan
I met him through Dan, on a Tuesdayafter sending the script the week before. He fitted the role so well, and believe it or not! it was his idea to have the bow tie. He does a lot of acting for Witney Dramatic Society and has clear talent. I was sad that I missed his recent show Quiz Night at the Britannia Pub. had a great review! check it out!

These guys are so professional and fantastic actors. I was very lucky to have met them, let alone work with them! They made this film what it is! I wanted it to be a professional piece of work that would maybe be seen as a film rather than just another student film. There commitment to this project of mine was unreal, every Tuesday we would meet up at location of one of the scenes, Dan and Adie would run through the script and voice changes that maybe need to be done. The Film was originally called 'The Colour Blue' for some reason! but as we ran through the script every Tuesday, it was clear that it had to become 'Tuesday' just another day!

Special Thanks to Dan & Adie for starring in my little depressing film. If you ever need professional actors, they are your men!
Looking forward to working with them again very soon!

Simple Stan

SIMPLE STAN

I created this character for reasons unknown to me, I cant draw as you can see! he is simple and created just to see if I could bring something to life. I was hoping to make a series of short episode of STAN, starting with him watching television and having to deal with some sort of noise that forces him away from the television. The plan was that he would go and visit his friend 'an Owl' on a tree at the end of a field who gives him information about where the noise is coming from. sounds silly I know.

Stan Waits for something to show on the
television, but nothing is happening!

SIMPLE STAN is BORN!

STAN WATCHES TELEVISION
EPISODE ONE sadly no OWL!

Tuesday by Daniel Kilby

Tuesday by Daniel Kilby

This Film was made for a University project in my second year. but was looked at more like a music video, it also starred me as the character Steven, that was funny in its self, as I cant act and know this, so left as much talking out as possible. I made the decision that I need to use professional actors, not only in order make this film, but also to set myself a challenge. I want to work with different people and become a professional film-maker, so need to meet and work with as many people within the field I can.

So the Story should be revealed at this stage I guess. Well its about a young lad called Steven, who is struggling with life, has no friends, a feeling that has been with him since his childhood. His only friend is Mr Dewes, who is his doctor. Dr Dewes doesnt seem to be interested in friendship, he just has a job to do. As Steven is asked questions of his past, his mind enters into a room of fantasy, as he remembers his childhood.

The Best thing I heard about this film was from a friend, who described it as the Radiohead of the films. I happen to like Radiohead! its strange because it was meant to turn out a little funny and then reduce whoever was watching it to tears at the end. I will let you be the judge! please go easy on me, its my first short film I have ever done, and I hope with time I will get better and better
